About Us
About Cowork Health
Having worked with thousands of clinics at EMR/PM provider DocuTAP (now Experity Health) over the years, we received daily insights into the unique needs of urgent care clinics. One recurring theme centered around finding better ways to manage employer relationships for occupational medicine.
Most urgent cares are proficient in delivering quality, convenient care, using established solutions to help them do so. But there is a need to extend these solutions to the occ med space, improving post-visit invoicing and communication with employers.
That is why we started Cowork Health: to build an occ med solution that introduces automation to the invoicing process and creates better, more secure ways to communicate between clinics and employers.
Founders
Darin Vander Well
Darin has spent most of his career in healthcare-related companies. Out of college, Darin worked for the Avera Research Institute, managing clinical research studies on new pharmaceutical and non-drug therapies. Jumping to DocuTAP in 2008, Darin worked with urgent care clinics to design and build new features and products. He often wore multiple hats during DocuTAP’s rapid growth, from sales and marketing to leading all product development efforts as the Director of Product, and eventually developing the product marketing function at DocuTAP. Rounding out his healthcare experience, Darin has also held product and marketing roles at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics and Sanford Health.
Dusty Schroeder
Dusty has spent most of his career working with fast-growth, health IT companies. Soon after graduating from College, Dusty joined DocuTAP in its infancy. He cut his teeth in demand generation and business development for the high growth technology start-up, helping the company grow from fewer than 15 clients in 2007 to over 3,000 in 2018. As VP of Marketing at DocuTAP, Dusty owned demand gen, brand direction, and go-to-market strategy for all products and services. In 2019, Dusty jumped to another high-growth healthcare company, Vitalware, as VP of Marketing with the goal to create a revenue engine that more effectively positioned the company for future growth and acquisitions. Vitalware was acquired by Health Catalyst in 2020.
